About Julie Kim

Julie Kim is Associate Editor of TheCorporateCounsel.net. Julie has extensive experience working on SEC disclosure and corporate governance matters. For almost 9 years, she served as in-house counsel at Time Warner, a media & entertainment company, where she performed a broad range of legal work related to securities law matters, NYSE listing requirements and corporate governance. She was especially engaged in the preparation of the annual proxy statement with all of its craziness. During her time at Time Warner, she assisted in the spin-offs of Time Warner Cable, AOL and Time Inc., which is enough for anyone's lifetime.

Prior to joining Time Warner, Julie spent over 6 years in the New York office of Winston & Strawn, where she worked on a variety of corporate matters, including securities offerings, M&A transactions and private equity investments. She has a BA and JD from the University of Chicago.
